Using the Map Search:
  • Enter a business search and click the Search button
  • A progress bar displays while your results-map is being generated
  • Any search results returned will load on the map and in the clickable links section below it
  • To locate a search result on the map, click the title-link as below
  • The map will jump to the location and display the details in an information bubble.
    (This may be closed by clicking on the red marker on the map, or the blue [x] in the top left corner of the bubble)
  • You can move around the loaded map by clicking on the map and holding down the mouse button, while dragging the map around
  • The map features standard Google tools such as displaying satellite imagery, panning and zooming

Using the QuickLinks:
  • To view any topic, simply click on the heading
  • The links section will expand as below
  • To close, click on a different topic, or close all the links by clicking on the 'QuickLinks' title bar
  • The links section will collapse as below

Personalize the Homepage
  • Sign up
    1. Click on the 'Sign up' link
    2. Which will open the New User screen
    3. Complete the form
    4. Click 'Continue' on the resultant screen to be redirected to the Homepage.
    5. You will then also have been logged in
    6. In 'Regular Browsing' mode, you can 'Minimize' or 'Close' any Web-Part by clicking on the down arrow on the right of the title bar

  • Move Content
    1. Select 'Move Content' in the dropdown list beside your Username
    2. When the page has refreshed, hover over the desired Web-Part title.
      You should see the cursor transform as below
    3. Click on the title bar, and slowly drag the webpart to the new location
    4. A blue bar will appear at possible new location sites as a guide
    5. Releasing the mouse button will drop the Web-Part at the new spot on the page

  • Add/Remove Content
    1. Select 'Add/Remove Content' in the dropdown list beside your Username
    2. When the page has refreshed, all additional content (along with any content the User may have closed) will be displayed
      Select as many new content pieces as desired for a particular zone (Left, Middle or Right-side of the page)
    3. Select the desired zone (Left/Middle/Right) and click Add
    4. When the page has refreshed, the content piece(s) will have been added to the top of the desired zone
    5. Pieces that have been added in this way can be moved or deleted

  • Close/Re-Open Content
    1. Once logged in, the User can 'Minimize' or 'Close' any Web-Part by clicking on the down arrow on the right of the title bar
    2. To re-open content that has been closed, select 'Add/Remove Content' in the dropdown list beside your Username
    3. When the page has refreshed, all additional content (along with any content the User may have closed) will be displayed
    4. To re-open the content piece; tick the checkbox, select the desired zone (Left/Middle/Right) and click Add

Get Online/3-Page Website:
  • Select 'Get Online' from the menu
  • Browse the pages and styles for the default 3-page site available.

  • Any search results returned will load on the map and in the clickable links section below it

Submit a Business:
  • Select 'Submit a Business' from the menu
  • Complete the form
  • You may upload a logo of not more than 100kb.
    (Acceptable file formats are: .jpg and .gif)
  • Click 'Submit' or 'Cancel' as appropriate.
